xyloh graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Yoga Studies, Yoga Therapy Track, from Loyola Marymount University in 2022. They published their Masters thesis on amazon titled “The Solace of Grey: Yogic Perspectives on Healing through Complex Trauma”. xyloh specializes in mindfulness, meditation, therapeutic yoga, somatic therapy, and existential-phenomenological approaches. They have experience working in inpatient and outpatient treatment settings with speciality in populations of complex PTSD, dissociative disorders, neurodivergence, addictions, and LGBTQ+. They also have experience working as a crisis counselor for a suicide text line. xyloh utilizes a trauma-informed approach to help instill a felt sense of safety. They offer a guiding hand for individuals finding their way back Home to themselves physically, emotionally, psychologically, and energetically/spiritually. The power of creative avenues such as imagery, art, nature, and horses have also been utilized in their work.
