Healing from complex trauma, dissociative disorders and narcissistic abuse, is a comprehensive process that can offer regulation, cohesion and purpose. By exhuming parts of the self that were disowned for the sake of survival, wholeness can be restored and a life of thriving can be attained.

The fusion of traditional therapeutic methods and creative exploration can reveal powerful solutions and assist with cultivating a cohesive narrative of your life. This life-changing journey inspired me to create a theater project for at-risk women and to share about my personal healing through an animated film short, telecasts and writings about recovery.

An authentic reparative bond is crucial to effectively attain goals, as the therapeutic alliance is the most robust predictor of treatment outcomes. I am committed to establishing a secure foundation for a corrective therapeutic relationship, characterized by humanity and compassion, so that deep and sustaining recovery is supported.

Treatment Approach

A complex trauma and addiction therapist for 30+ years in New York (where I still have licensure), I am also a member of the Canadian Counseling & Psychotherapy Assoc. I provide trauma-informed psychodynamic therapy which incorporates PARTS work, Ericksonian hypnosis, coaching and offer creative, spiritual and holistic methods and resources that encourage regulation, integration and healing. I also collaborate with somatic and sensorimotor practitioners and incorporate group therapy and 12-step fellowship support when warranted.
