I am a queer, trans, nonbinary, neurodivergent therapist. I work with any age range 12+, and primarily work with young adults and adolescents. I aim for a radically inclusive practice. I want to help people find their path forward and live their truth, no matter what that looks like. My personal experiences allow me to connect well with clients who are trauma survivors, neurodivergent, chronically ill, and/or LGBTQ+. I have also had the privilege of facilitating multiple support groups for dissociative identites / DID through Multiplied By One since 2022.
Treatment Approach
I consider my treatment approach to be client-centered. When working with dissociative identities, I make space for the clients' understanding of their own system rather than trying to fit their system into an existing framework. I do not use the idea of a "core self," nor do I use concepts from Internal Family Systems. I enjoy using expressive arts as a medium for communication and processing of trauma and inner experiences. As for treating trauma, the clinic I practice at uses a phase-based trauma treatment model that includes somatic therapy.
