NCC, LC13696 (Maryland), 0701014743 (Virginia), EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist

I support teens and adults who have experienced trauma including attachment trauma and neglect, narcissistic abuse, and high-demand groups / cults and survivors of the troubled teen industry or therapeutic abuse.

Autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent individuals and their family members have historically been poorly served by traditional therapy methods and providers due to differences in communication styles, information processing, and neurodivergent traits being misunderstood or pathologized.  Additionally, neurodivergent individuals experience traumatic events and develop PTSD and other trauma-related symptoms at higher rates than their neurotypical peers.  Dissociative symptoms and systems can also present differently in those with autistic nervous systems and understanding both is critical to therapeutic attunement and affirming care.

As a neurodivergent therapist with lived experience with relational trauma, I seek to meet clients where they are and join with them with transparency and authenticity.

I also integrate trauma therapy with supporting clients with experiences that are common among neurodivergent individuals including executive functioning needs, navigating overwhelm and burnout, OCD, and body focused repetitive behaviors.

Treatment Approach

I integrate relational work with trauma therapy modalities including ego state therapy, EMDR, brainspotting, and safe and sound protocol.  I am an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist and Consultant-in-training who also provides consultation to other providers on adapting trauma therapy to neurodivergent adults and working with dissociation.
