Kristy Quaka

LMHC

With over 13 years of experience in private practice, I specialize in working with trauma and dissociative disorders, including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and OSDD. I understand that living with dissociation and navigating life as a system can be complex, and therapy should be a place where every part of you is treated with respect and compassion.

My office is a safe space where you are welcome to show up exactly as you are. You can speak freely, take your time, or choose silence without fear of judgment or repercussions. I won’t expect you to have your system figured out, communicate in a particular way, or know who is present at any given moment.

I believe the relationship we build together is at the heart of effective therapy. My goal is to create a collaborative space where you and your system feel heard, respected, and empowered as we work toward greater safety, understanding, communication, and healing.

Treatment Approach:

I utilize a personalized approach that blends various treatment modalities to meet your unique needs. Often, this includes integrating a psychodynamic perspective with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and hypnotherapy, among other techniques, to facilitate healing and growth. My goal is to support you on your journey towards resilience and well-being, providing guidance as you navigate through both internal and external challenges.
