Helping to educate and heal the world one interaction at a time; where help exists, hope persists. ♥

Welcome! I am so glad you are here. ◡̈

What may have happened to you is not your fault, and perhaps you never told anybody about some or all of the hard things you've been through because you didn't feel ready to or safe enough to... And that's okay. Despite keeping them to yourself and the passage of any amount of time, you can find healing and wholeness on the other side of your challenging life experiences.

Whatever addictions or other issues you've struggled to eliminate on your own may be generationally learned habits and/or they may be coping skills that helped you at one time but they just aren't helping anymore. Regardless of the cause(s) or source(s), you can forge a new path through breaking generational chains, learning self-control, developing coping skills, and improving upon yourself through a variety of strategies. You can be someone who stops something you started and who learns new, healthier ways of living.

I believe that every person that wants to change is capable of change.

Growth may not always be linear or the most pleasant to experience, but I can promise any growth I encourage in therapy is meant to be for a client's benefit. I aspire to help the people that I work with become their best selves, and that begins with a person making the decision to authentically and courageously show up to therapy. It is important to know that therapy is not intended to fix any individual; rather, it is a space in which individuals are able to learn how to help themselves and grow in their independent ability to do so.

Concerning my professional path, I ended up in the counseling profession as a result of a personal calling to help make the world a better place (which started during childhood) and this calling led to my current job as a passionate, professional helper! I truly enjoy helping people improve upon themselves and repair their lives, and I strive to find the strategies that work the best for each individual in my care. I truly consider it a privilege to witness clients' metamorphoses, making this work even more meaningful to me.

There's much to see on my website. So, please take your time, look around, and learn as much as you would like. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, and I hope you enjoy my site!

Blessings and positivity, ✨

Treatment Approach

As a primarily person-centered therapist, I employ Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Outside of these approaches, I have completed trainings in Brainspotting, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Hypnosis, Parts & Memory Therapy (P&MT), and Revisioning. Brainspotting, EMDR, Hypnosis, P&MT, Revisioning, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy are therapies that can weaken the emotional distress associated with traumatic memories from the past, and research has suggested that they can help with phobias, PTSD, anxiety disorders, chronic pain, addictions, and eating disorders, among other issues.
