Noah Granade

MSW, LCSW

I work with clients across the dissociative spectrum, and utilize various approaches, interventions, and assessment tools based on personal needs. I empower clients with knowledge regarding the neurobiology of dissociation, how dissociative adaptations form, and how these adaptations impact them today. I collaborate with clients and follow their lead on dissociation- and trauma-related goals. I often utilize creative interventions (expressive arts, writing, sandtray, and other forms of non-verbal processing) and somatic-based techniques. More broadly, Psychodynamic and Attachment Theories shape my conceptualization and overall approach. I am trained in Brainspotting, the Multidimensional Inventory of Dissociation assessment tool, and Embodied Recovery for Eating Disorders. I have training and experience in working with both organic and non-organic systems (those resulting from RAMCOA/OEA).

Treatment Approach:

As a therapist, it is my primary goal to support clients in identifying and working towards their specific goals. Some clients may know exactly what they are seeking in therapy, while others just know they need help but don’t know where to start. I will meet you at whatever stage you are in your journey and partner with you in building the life you want to live.

I often utilize somatic-based approaches and trauma-specific interventions. Neurodiversity-informed and gender-affirming care are also key components of my therapeutic approach. I like to empower clients with psychoeducation, helping them understand their experiences in context and decolonize internalized beliefs they may hold about themselves and others. Feedback is always welcome in my office. Leaning into the safety of the therapeutic relationship, we will explore your triggers together, learning how to navigate these effectively both internally and interpersonally.
