Michelle Nevett

Registered Social Worker with Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) #864962

Perhaps you've noticed memory gaps, losing time, feeling disconnected from yourself, strong shifts in emotions, identity, preferences, or ways of being, hearing internal voices, or experiencing different parts of yourself that seem to hold distinct thoughts, feelings, needs, or memories. You may be wondering whether your experiences relate to dissociation, plurality, OSDD, DID, complex trauma, or something else entirely. You may also already understand your experiences and are seeking support in working with your internal system, or processing your traumas so that they have less negative impact on your life(ves).

Many people who contact me have spent years trying to make sense of experiences that feel confusing, difficult to explain, or misunderstood by others. Some identify as plural or multiple. Others are exploring whether dissociation may be part of their experience. You do not need to have a diagnosis or know exactly what is happening before reaching out.

Finding someone to explore and navigate your experiences with you(s) can bring up a lot of different thoughts and feelings. No matter where you(s) are at right now or what challenges you(s) are facing, please know that I will offer you(s) consistency, transparency, authenticity, expertise, humility, and compassion as best as I possibly can as we explore your experiences together.
