“I contain multitudes” is a Walt Whitman quote I resonate with because it touches on the adaptive strengths each part of us contains. I hold hope for every client and gently carry pain with those who desperately need someone to be in it with them. You'll find my approach is warm, collaborative, creative, affirming, and trauma-sensitive, and my office is a space where all parts are welcome and safe. Nothing (and no one) is “too much” or “too dark” to bring to therapy. I deeply believe the opportunity to pursue healing via counseling should be accessible. That said, those who can pay full session fees help make it possible for me to offer a reduced fee option to those who might not be able to access services otherwise. Please reach out with any questions!
Treatment Approach
Therapies I integrate for DID/ OSDD include Ego State Therapy (a type of parts work), EMDR (when appropriate and always dissociation-informed), Somatic Therapy (body-based techniques), and DBT (when skills could be helpful) in addition to elements of Sand Tray and Play Therapy. I also incorporate art, creativity, and movement into the healing process per client preference.
