I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina (License #A17328) & received my Masters of Mental Health Counseling Degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in 2021. I see folks for a variety of issues, however, I primarily help those dealing with C-PTSD & dissociation (mainly DID). While I help those from all walks of life, I have a passion for helping those trying to engage in Christian community while living with DID. I am also a trauma-informed birth doula when I am not doing clinical work.
Treatment Approach
I am psychodynamic and attachment-focused while operating within the three phases of Phasic Trauma Treatment (PTT). Outside of my EMDR training I am pretty eclectic modality-wise-drawing from ACT, transactional analysis, narrative therapy, bibliotherapy, and DBT skills. Trust-building is a cornerstone of my work and I focus on taking time to get to know each system as well as help the system get to know themselves.
